An Era Past

A straight forward account of the battle. Kindle's biggest limitation is that it doesn't handle maps at all well. You have to go to other sources (google) for that. -- There's the account of the battle. Really, it was the last time the old (Nelson) style ship/fleet battle took place. So for this it is worth reading. A nice flavor of the times. -- You need to look elsewhere for the various interpretations of whether the Brits actually "won" this one. End of an era. After this the final great sea battles were in the Pacific and made Nimitz and Halsey and Spruance the last great commanders in the tradition we often associate with the British Navy.
There are other accounts that implicate the British command structure prevalent at that time. (The Germans escaped, (a) because the British fleet turned AWAY when the German destroyers put up a screen and the German fleet snuck behind and the Ship's officer who saw this could do nothing about it because the command structure was rigid and did not permit independent initiative. (Compare with Spruance and Nimitz later, in the Pacific expecting their local commanders to use their initiative consistent with overall objectives.)
Worth the price. Just for the account and the historical flavor of the account.

Could have had more depth and background but sure covered the overall battle

Good overview but not too much on details of the nitty gritty of the fight. Couldn't smell the gunpowder in other words.
